I could only find numbers, not letters, at the local home improvement stores, so I was pleased to find these modern house letters. The finish is bare aluminum, however, so they will not match the finish of the numbers you get from Home Depot or Lowe's, which are satin nickel. Luckily I was able to put this "A" near the door of the house, and put the house numbers on a column, so the finish difference was not obvious.

These metal house numbers are great! The size and build quality are excellent and the packaging works to keep it safe during transport. The attachment mechanism is easy enough, but it depends on the material you are installing on. I installed on wood, so it was easy to drill a hole, and press fit in the number. I have also installed a set on stone which is a bit more difficult, but still overall, very easy. Highly recommend. Pay attention to the size though because 10" is pretty big and can be too big depending on where it's installed and how far from the street your house is. Definitely recommend.

The houses on our street all have lit house numbers affixed to the front of each house; unfortunately the landscaping is such that trees all tend to grow and obscure those numbers. On occasion we've had mis-deliveries to the wrong house, because the delivery person couldn't read our house number (thankfully, if it's an Amazon delivery, the photo of the delivery tells us which neighbor ended up with our package).This house number, metallic matte silver in color and weighing a solid 3.3 ounces, should solve the mis-delivery problem. Although it comes with hardware (screws and plastic anchors) I prefer not to drill into the stucco, and used Sugru putty to put a few blobs where the screw holes are, and it's holding well. With this easy-to-spot number, I'm optimistic that package mis-deliveries will be a thing of the past.
