Perfect for use as watercolor pallets. I group my fave colors so i have gorgeous mixes at my fingertips as well as I can make up a larger mix if needed for skies and such. Stacks perfectly which saves space. Nice ceramic finish, good weight. I would purchase again.

I really like these for making watercolor washes. And the design is very pretty, but the rims are not glazed and they got stained with watercolor paint that won't come off. Sadly I accidently broke the lid when I was trying to open the package. I don't blame the shipper because they come packaged so well that I was having a hard time trying to unwrap all the packing tape from the item. I have wondered if there is a way I can get a replacement for the lid.

I love the designs on this. It would well to hold my watercolor paints so my cats can't get into them when the are drying out after use.

I had been searching for something like this size-wise. The fact that they stack nicely is a bonus. The size of the little dishes is nice for a mixing dish to make a fair amount of watercolor wash. When I'm finished for the day, they stack nicely, so they don't take up too much space on my art table. I love them.

Beautiful concept but sadly, its practical value is not fitting the bill. The side of each palette is not glazed so aside from potentially hurting your brush because it is abrasive, cleaning it will require a lot more time and effort. It is not a good purchase if it is intended for watercolor. I cannot recommend.

One of those reviews which seems pointless, but it was well packaged and came from China to Canada without any mishaps. They are all intact and looking very good. She already had some which she bought from another source. Though they looked the same design and color these are slightly smaller. She is still happy with them as she can now use them for a different type of ink and there is no chance she will mix them by mistake.She is very happy to have received them.

I love this item for carefully storing my watercolour paints. Their size allow you to dilute to the desired amount also. Beautiful painting results

BROKEN!! :( one of the dishes arrived broken. It such a beautiful piece, I am so sad I cannot use it and have to return it :( Needs better packaging!!
