This is a quality sieve. The mesh is well secured all the way around the frame and there are no visible inconsistencies in the mesh. It does seem to be stainless steel and the body has a nice polished surface finish.

I got this for as a reusable automotive paint strainer. Working great so far! Appears well made and the mesh seems uniform. Would I use these for grading gemstones? No. Straining paint with reasonable expectation that I won't get a clog? Absolutely.

The pan is as-advertised, however, the metal is thinner than I would prefer. It will adequately serve its purpose, but will not very durable.

I was impressed with the build quality of the sieves. I didn't see any problems with how it was constructed. Can't verify mesh sizing but overall seems like a good product compared to more well known brands.

I use this to analyze orders of ground coffee to determine the amount of dust in the batch. This is the perfect mesh to separate good grounds from dust that will slow the brewing process.It is very well made and "water tight" around the crimp seam. There is no bypass that I can tell. The mesh size seems accurate and the metal is stainless steel for both the body and the mesh.These are very good sieves and I will be building up a larger selection of these over time as needs arise.
