I purchased these boxes as I wanted to replace an Expodisc plastic box with a broken closure. This box was a bit smaller, but it was about the closest measurement without getting too large. The 77mm Expodisc and lanyard fits but not the instruction booklet. Not a deal breaker for me as I don't need the booklet. I'll be able to use the other boxes for other purposes like sewing supplies for travel, cotton swabs, etc. The boxes aren't the rigid plastic and have a bit of give but aren't soft. The closure works well, but type of hinge will probably break after awhile. I'm satisfied with the boxes and they're a good size for a lot of purposes.
