Light weight and sturdy. Held the chalk in place while writing on the chalk board. Easy to use.

I use the standard Crayola Chalk; I just use a pencil sharpener with the two holes to sharpen the chalk to write easier. These chalk holders are light weight and keep my hands clean. You may have to pull the internal plastic prongs to get the chalk in. Once you get it where you want it, the plastic prongs lock around the chalk. My only regret was that I didn’t buy more. The color chalk box has 6 colors and I have a white chalk box. This is only a 5 holder set. It’s worth the purchase if you use chalk for an organization board or your kids use them for play.

it works okay for skinny or medium sized chalk, but not good for thick pieces or short pieces.

Exactly what I needed to keep one of my kids from breaking their chalk in half every time. Pretty easy to use, kids can't get the chalk out.

Granddaughter was so pleased with her chalk holders. Perfect for her toddler hands. We love the fact that her hands stay clean and these are so easy for her to use.

This is a great idea but I've been having problems with it holding the chalk the chalk is normal size and it's like not big enough so it slides out more slides back in so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. So giving benefit of the doubt I put three stars
