These are good quality Tools, & although the size is smaller than what I expected, they’re still a good value for the money. They seem to be built of high-quality graphite, and seem to be quite durable so far. Despite being a little smaller than what I expected, they still function well for my purposes, & are very easy to use. I did not think that I would need or use the graphite rods that are included, but I quickly found out that they are in fact very useful.

This is a very good set. I refine, melt, and mold silver and this has been really good for making 10oz ingots.

It's a good set of tools I've been using for the melting. I have several bars made for putting up and every nice day I make more. I already cracked one of the crucible. But I think it is due to my inexperience and not the quality.

Very nice molds for my silver smithing tho they are slightly bigger than what I need but I still use them. They definitely can handle the heat and the metal so durability is right up there, it is easy if you have practice d pouring but should work like a charm.

Use these in my little homemade forge. I keep it out in the garage and several times I bumped these things off and they fell to the concrete floor and to my pleasant surprise they didn't break it all. And in the forge it's as if the nothing was going on it's 2,800° and they don't show any sign of anything. So far I've only melted aluminum in the crucible so far, but it comes right out easily with graphite tools.

This is a good set of stuff! The carbon stir sticks... I thought they would burn up nope. They are really good!The crucibles. I love them. They are tiny enough to do quick things or torch melt a little bit. Or keep stuff from contaminating your other crucibles.The little I got mold is pure garbage. It is a toy. When you get this package. Feel the crucible... look at it. Now Feel the ingot mold and look at it. Anything that is machined out of carbon like the mold is going to last like 2 or 3 uses. I thought I was smart and let it cool in the kiln with copper in it. The next day the ingot mold was GONE. Where it went? Whose to say? About 50% of it was missing. It was there when I stopped. It did not leave a pile of crud. It left some. But it was mostly gone.This kit is so good I bought it again to get more of the crucibles and stir rods. The crucibles are small so be prepared.ALSO. The rods. I will be using the rods for electroplating since they are inert and conductive they won't contaminate the juices.ALSO! The rods ship in a clear plastic tube with rubber end stops. This looks like a handy storage for other things like maybe glass stir rods? Note that the carbon rods will attract some material so they won't go back into the tube unless you make sure to clean the rod.
