This seems like a good inexpensive set of cymbals for beginners. They don't have the rich sound of my big-name cymbals, but they sound ok. They sound a bit thin. Also, I noticed that every time I tap on the cymbals with the drumstick, it leaves a tiny mark on the cymbal, so don't be surprised if that happens.

As a musician (though a guitarist, not a drummer), I can recognize quality gear, and these cymbals are exactly as advertised. They’re thin, cheaply made, and likely won’t last more than a year with regular practice, but given their low price, they’re a fair option for beginners. This set is perfect if you want something inexpensive to see if your budding drummer will stick with it before investing in higher-quality cymbals. While they may look like brass, they’re actually a gold-colored stainless steel alloy, which is clearly stated in the description. I’m still unsure what “low volume†means, but I assume it refers to their thinner construction. Overall, a good value for what you pay, just don’t expect long-term durability.
