The built-in circuit breakers work just like they do at home. When an appliance is pulling more than 24 Amps, the breaker will trip, cutting off power to the appliance. Once you figure out what caused the trip and fix it, you can press the red button in and resume using this adapter.

Very solid and well built. Got tired of trying to use my compressor from a 20A outlet - would commonly trip the circuit breaker. So got this adapter to plug into a 50A RV outlet I have at the end of the garage. Looks like it splits each leg of the 50A service to two outlets, for a total of four on the device. Each set of two is protected with a circuit breaker. Compressor has no issue starting/restarting now.

This product was purchased for camping purposes. It has a sturdy structure and feels heavy when you hold it (opposed to some that are light and cheap). It worked well to convert power from a 50 amp service to 110 for household uses like powering a griddle, fan, and coffee pot. It is easy to use, and simply plugs in. The value and investment in this product is good considering the frequency and intensity of its use. Always make sure you understand what type of service you will be using a 50, 30, or 110 service; the simplest way is to count the prongs and look at the pictures of the product configurations for 50 and 30 amp converters - 50 is 4 prongs (3 large flat and 1 small), 30 is 3 prongs (2 large flat and 1 small), and 110 is like a US household plug in.

Such a simple converter and helpful for houses that have an EV plug and no other external plugs.

This product does exactly what I expected it to do! I use it to power a bunch of 120V devices off of the 240V outlet on my generator, so that I can use the remaining 120V plugs for other devices. Love this thing.

We have two vehicles: a Tesla and a Rev 4X, which is basically a fancy golf cart that we use to transport us around our retirement community. This device allows me to use the same drier-style 220V outlet that we use to charge our Tesla for our 110 volt Rev 4X. In addition, I use this to add two, 20 AMP circuits to drive power tools in my garage-shop.
