I used this along with two other killmatt products to insulate and sound dead'n a For Ranger. This transformed my Ranger. It's so quite it nearly hurts your ears! No more road noise, no rattles, nothing! The stereo sounds 10 times better! Incredible quality! Very durable, extremely easy to use! Light weight super functional! It sticks perfect. I did all my installation between 70-80 degrees and it makes the installation that easier, although this is so sticky once it's down and rolled. It's just perfect product! I will buy again for the next car I take apart. Doesn't have to be 100% lined to make a difference. I felt like 50% would probably just fine. My ranger had no insulation so I went the extra mile especially on the roof with the 3 ply stuff. No more hot truck!

I almost went the "poor mans" way and bought Frost King Foam Duct Insulation, but then I saw this Kilmat sound deadening was about the same price as the Duct Insulation. Using prime, I ordered and received the package the same day. I found it was easier to work with this material with my bare hands as using gloves the adhesive stuck to the gloves making it difficult to install - once I took the gloves off it was much easier to work with the material. I also found it to be easier to use a good pair of scissors instead of a straight edge razor - the material is thin enough to use scissors. It was a cold day outside and when the temp dropped below about 42 degrees the kilmat material became much harder, so recommend installing on a day between 50-70 degrees outside. Also, the foil liner wasn't too sharp, I didn't have to worry too much about cutting myself using my bare hands.As far as it doing it's job as a sound deadening material? I installed these in a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I can definitely tell a difference on the road noise, especially on the highway. It's probably a good 25% quieter, if not more. My doors feel heaver, have a nice THUNK when I shut them, and sound solid when I tap the doors with my knuckles. I replaced my speakers in my doors at the same time and I am very happy with the results - no rattles and great sound. I did two layers - one on the outside panel and one on the inside panel - maybe overkill, but I received 50 square feet, which was enough to do all four of my doors doing double layers. This is A+ material.

Building a truck and want the sound deadening and the insulation factor. So it has this texture in the shiny side and didn't realize it was to allow the foil to be stretched into shapes and contour to the panels. Sticking well and I'm able to peel the edges without that sticky residue being left behind. cuts well to shape with a razor. All in all it's being a nice product to work with. Now I thought I would want a big sheet but these smaller manageable pieces are the ticket. Now with all that said, I thought adding new material on the floor would make it nice and orderly for finding nuts and bolts but it's the opposite. Don't put this stuff down until you're ready for the floor mat, because I can't find anything I drop. (nuts bolts washers you name it)

I got two packs of this stuff after getting a custom exhaust on my G37 sedan. It's pretty loud (but sounds good) and droned around 2.5-3.5k rpm. Not only is this stuff easy to install, easy to cut and affordable... It really works!! I have covered at least 75% of the trunk (and it's not a small trunk either) and I haven't even used up the first box yet! I did the very rear wall and down into the beginning of the spare wheel area first and took it for a drive to see how it was doing so far, and it was already sooooooo much better. I did basically the rest of the trunk and it still got even a little bit better, but the biggest effect was the rear area right above the exhaust tips which makes sense. So I might do a 2nd layer back there and call it good. It's already 100% livable and I don't mind it at all, but I do still get a few rattles so I'd like to get rid of those before calling it quits. I'll probably keep what I have left and not sell it so when I have other parts of the car taken apart for whatever reason I can line them and get it nice and quiet. I really REALLY like this stuff.

Buy a roller, buy two rollers, a skinny one and a wider one.Application was very simple, but time consuming. Just take your time and make sure you lay it into all the contours for proper adhesion.2008 ram 2500 crew cab 6.7 Cummins (straight pipe w/ no cat, axle dump)The noise reduction is pretty impressive. You would have to speak loudly before, but mow you can speak normally. It 50 sheet kit is literally one sheet shy of doing the back wall and floor, but it is under the center console and has a little bit of factory sound deadener.

Used this material inside my 2021 Kia Seltos in an attempt to lower the cabin noise. Applied it to the wheel arches, trunk floor, and inside the rear hatch. The product goes on easy and with the proper application using rollers, you can achieve a near professional outcome with modest effort. Cuts easily and can form around modest curves and undulations in the surface. Force it too much and the foil will tear and leave the butyl underside exposed. That stuff is sticky and will transfer to anything that touches it so best to cover any tears with another piece.In the end, it did lower the road noise in my Kia. As much as I hoped? No, but I am still glad I used this product. It's affordable and effective.

I bought this to use on my van which I'm converting to a camper. To be honest I didn't know what to expect as I have never been in a car/van with sound deadening. I can honestly say that after fitting it there is a marked difference (even my good lady noticed it. It is not the cheapest on the market but definitely not the dearest but it works. I found it really easy to use, the adhesive is very strong and its really easy to cut to shape too. If I need any more I wouldn't hesitate to get it again and I would definitely recommend it.

Viene muy bien embalado, y en excelentes condiciones, también que rinde muy bien, con una caja logre puertas y cajuela, y sobró material, el rodillo no es indispensable para la instalación ya que no entra en las depresiones que tienen las láminas, sin embargo si lo añadieran en el paquete serÃa Perfecto!!!
