I was looking for something delicate and pretty carafe with lid for making Fruit infused water. It served the purpose pretty well and is well priced. It is very convenient to hold the bottle and pour. The lid is designed well to keep the fruits, lemon slices etc. to fall into the glass. And size is good enough to serve for a day or couple of guests. It is pretty and eye-catching, something you like to show off at a party!

This 40 oz carafe is good quality and has a good design. The base is solid, fits well in my smaller hands, and DOES NOT DRIP like a different pitcher that we ordered that had a spout. The stopper is good quality and fits easily in the neck. It’s easy to refill. Ordered a second one and we use both every day to more easily pour our filtered water. Love this carafe. I highly recommend it.

I like pretty much everything about this bottle. It’s really good looking, feels great in your hands, like wine decanter. It cleans well! Certain plus is that it doesn’t contain lead and other harmful stuff as glass but it’s much thinner than any glass bottle I know. Its shape also very good for juices and gazpacho. Fits well into our fridge. More expensive but I highly recommend it!!!

This carafe is beautiful and elegant. However, the reason I bought it was to eliminate the use of plastic containers in my kitchen. I was very disappointed that the top piece contains a lid that is plastic. I assumed it would be stainless steel. I made sure that the ring inside was silicone and not rubber. But didn’t expect the plastic lid. Not sure what I’ll do.

I bought 2 of these carafes and actually prefer them to the rounded variety. I use them to hold distilled water (I have smartened up and don't use tap water anymore) for my drinks in the kitchen and for brushing teeth in the bathroom (no more fluoride in my drinking water or toothpaste!). No bugs get in, they are well sealed, yet just tip them and a smooth, perfect flow of water comes out every time. And I pop them in the dishwasher to clean. So easy! I just love them, and highly recommend them.

Make sure 40 oz is what you need as this can be small if you have a large event of family. It's just me and my husband and I use it for homemade ice tea. Works great! Seals nicely as well.
