These are well made -- and I expect them to work for me, eventually.Before you buy these, check the depth of the holes into which they must fix.The sturdy 6 mm pins are about 7/16 inch long. The mating holes in our kitchen cabinets are in the range of 1/4 - 5/16 inch deep. The 'pegs' won't go all the way in. and so there is not enough space for the shelf.I see three potential solutions:- notch each shelf to provide clearance for the bracket;- grind each pin to be short enough to fully seat;- drill the holes deeper.I plan to go for door #3 -- drill the holes deeper. Success will depend on whether I can get my smallest drill into the available space. The distance from wall to wall inside this particular kitchen cabinet is about 10-3/4 inches. That will be tight for the drill + bit. If that doesn't work, I'll be off to door #2. I have three bench grinders, and taking a quarter inch off each, and chamfering them, will probably be a 10 minute job.

I found that standard 1/4" pegs were a bit too large for the holes in my shelf. These were advertised as 6mm--a bit smaller than 1/4"--and they fit perfectly. Sturdy too.
