I was surprised to find these "curly" upholstery pins were still around. An old fix from the past that actually works if you have enough depth of padding under the fabric to twist the pin into. The clear, almost flat head on the tacks make them closer to invisible. I took a star off because a couple of the upholstery tacks cracked apart before they completed the twist into the cushion.

Bought these to secure the adhesive cat scratcher sheets and so far they're working perfectly to my sofa so the cats don't pull off the carpet-like scratchers. They can be used for many purposes and the color (dark grey) matches well with both the scratchers and my sofa. I do like that they have multiple colors. They're larger button area makes it easy to twist the pin portion into the upholstery, and the pin length is also longer. Happy with this purchase!

I used these to pin down a cover on a sofa. The cover was slightly large for the cushion, and also the cushion is sewn on to the sofa. So the cover has less to grip. These pins work surprisingly well to anchor the cover to the sofa cushion.
