Perfect for hard to reach, or detailed areas. I used to try and make these myself but I ended up spending more time gluing and trimming sand paper than it was worth. These are an answered prayer.

I've often thought of covering the end of a stick with sandpaper for getting into tight spots on refinishing projects, but these sticks are much better than anything I could have dreamed up. They are pointy and tightly focused on a specific spot. I only wish they came in different grits. 280 is fine for rough finishing and getting rid of high spots as well as deep scratches or blemishes, but for finish work, I'd like a finer grit like 800, 1200 or higher. That's my only criticism as they meet many of my needs for spot sanding.
