i got these to put on the coat i was making for my sons halloween costume. the only snaps i could find at joanns were just too small and way too over priced. i saw this and it was perfect. i was able to get 50 sets compared to the 4 i would have gotten at joanns. they work great and look great on the coat. very happy with these.

They were just the size I needed to sew on a bulky sweater which wouldn't stay closed because it had no closures. When I sewed them on, they made the sweater lay straight on me. I was able to use black acrylic yarn, which I bought very inexpensively, to sew the snaps on.I like that they're made out of metal and they're very strong. They close firmly and stay that way. They measure 3/4 of an inch across and come 50 in a pack. Each half of the snaps comes in a separate packet.

The snaps were tough enough to hold a winter coat closing together, but you couldn't tell I sewed them in from the front of the coat, which is what I wanted. Did the trick!

These are strong and a large snap. Will work great for larger items and hold well.
