These rings are very cheaply made and are not secure at all. You do get a lot though. They have a very hard time keeping themselves clasped.

Very cheap product that will not stay closed. The 1 inch binder ring items are very flimsy which allow them to open. These binder rings will not remain shut for our large projects. Beware if you are needy dependable sturdy closures for projects. We had to reorder from another vendor to complete our projects.

At the end of every year, we have several thousands of loose leaf pages that need to be filed. 3 ring binders can be very expensive when you have to buy as many as we do. Switching to binder rings will save us thousands of dollars.When this item arrived, I said there's no way 500 rings fit in there. So I counted. 511 rings to be precise. Bonus. These are strong top quality and won't accidentally open. And if you buy them from the office supply store 12 at a time it would cost 162 dollars so the price is great too. And now we have enough to last for decades.
