I've been putting together my front garden with drip irrigation. I don't always need to supplement my garden since I live in the PNW, but during the summer months I really prefer drip irrigation rather than sprinklers. This was easy to assemble and use. Gives me the water I need and puts it where I need it.

I do like having two type of emitters in one unit. I live in a very dry climate and some of my plants, like ferns seem to really be happy to have the misting sprayer to get water directly on leaves. My main complaint is that these are difficult to adjust the flow. If the water is turned on, it becomes very difficult to turn either emitter. Further, the mister on top has nothing but friction holding it on. It is very difficult to adjust the flow rate without dislodging the mister resulting in a geyser of water.

I originally started with just 1/4" hose but as my system grew, adding 1/2" has become necessary. Once you start using drip, its addictive and quickly grows from a small install to a big one. This make for a easy way to expand out the basic 1/2" kit that I have, allowing me to easily support the growth of the system.Overall, the quality seems fine and the screw-on connections provide reasonable assurance that you will have a good fit that won't end up becoming problematic. Time will tell how they hold up, but so far so good.

Nice kit for the price. Comes with a few little accessories for connecting your drip system but you’ll most likely need to buy more. Quality is comparable to what you find in the big box stores, but it’s nice ordering online and having it delivered right to your door. I feel like you tend to get into projects like drip systems and no matter how well you plan before hand, you end up needing more pieces. This kit is a nice addition to your current drip irrigation materials or starter set for your system.

These emitters are a decent value. They're definitely more cheaply made than the ones I've been buying at the local garden center. For starters, the plastic stakes are a little flimsy, but I tend to use these in pots or other well tilled soil, so a sturdier stake is not a huge value. The big bonus here is these are only $0.30/each or about 1/4 of the price I've been paying for a name brand and they work just about the same. I had no issues attaching the 1/4" tubing and they all worked perfectly. You can adjust the flow by screwing/unscrewing the colored cap. Most of this drip stuff suffers UV damage and they seem to need replacing every few years and I suspect these will be the same or worse considering the lower build quality. Additionally, we have pretty hard water in my area and frequently drip stuff gets clogged with dirt and lime deposits, so replacing these in a couple of years will probably improve the overall performance of my system. I'll get these again in the future.

This kit will get you started for a small drip system, but you will almost certainly need to add to it in the future. The 1/2" tubing is not the super flex stuff so if you intend on punching it and putting in barbs it will take some force. If you use the supplied couplers to 1/4" no problem. The 1/4" tubing again, isn't super flex but it pushes on the barbs just fine and stays in place.I integrated this into and existing system with no problems.

These are a great value for money but I have had experience with emitters like this in the past, the plastic is a little thin and they become brittle in about two years if not protected from direct sunlight.I happen to be reconfiguring the sprinkler system in my front yard and have installed all of the red emitters. I appreciate that they were easy to install and worked without fail. In particular I appreciate the price, as emitters from the store can be quite expensive.
