This is a high quality and heavy duty power cord.I needed a longer cord for our camper and this was exactly the right one. It is better quality then the one I had before. It should last for many years. And the price was good compared to others I considered.

Good heavy 30 amp cord made with #10 wire. Great for RV use. I was not sure if my 13.5 BTU AC would start up because of a voltage drop from running this Cord with my existing 25 foot cord (50 feet total) but the AC fired up with no problem in 90 degree weather. Little or no voltage drop was registered at the Trailer. No flickering Lights when the Compressor started on the AC. Nice cord if you want to extend the distance from your generator to your RV.

This was an amazing value! I have only needed it once this season but it worked great and was extremely affordable.

Every campground we've been to has the power box withing 10'-15' of our rig. We had an outlet installed at the house and it was about 40’ away. We didn't want to risk a possible breaker tripping or any other damage by having an exposed connection in the yard by using an extension cord so we bought this beaut. It was a beautiful thing to hear the A/C and knowing the fridge we're both fired up in the driveway without the stark sound of the generator.

At 50amp the cord is stiff but so are all the other 50 amp cords I plug into it

First, I want to thank the other reviewer(s) who alerted to the potential for the wiring in this cord to be reversed. First thing I did was grab my DMM and verify if it was correct. Turns out it WASN'T! The hot and neutral were reversed - see pictures of measured resistance (a low value = connected, "OL" = no connection).To simplify the description of this: if you were to plug the ends of the cable into itself (on a properly wired cord) then all three wires in the cable (hot, neutral, ground) should only be connected to themselves in a continuous loop. On the cable I received, the hot and neutral were crossed on the female end of the cable. I know it was the female end that was miswired because I eventually cut the cord and checked the wire coloring and resistance to each of the receptacles.I contacted LifeSupplyUSA about this issue (including the pictures attached to this review). Their first response was quick and said I could return the cord, but claimed they had never had an issue like this before. However, there were several Amazon reviews on this cord that pointed to the miswiring (over a relatively long timeframe) and even more on the 25' version. Other stores online reviews also had statements of reversed polarity. When I pointed this out and also noted the inherent danger of having the polarity reversed, they offered me an immediate refund. While the first response of denial was either dishonest or ignorant of their issues, their follow-up offer of refunding without having to go through the hassle of a return was appreciated. I'd like to give them an extra star for that, but it took an additional push for them to do so and in the end this is a serious safety flaw that is just completely unacceptable.All of this aside, the actual cord is nice and an excellent value (assuming it was wired correctly). If you get one that is correct (assuming they're not all like the one I received) then this is a 5 star product for it's price point. The "coil memory" is pretty good considering the cord thickness (my outside temperatures were warmish, which helps that). The sheathing seemed good, although I haven't really had an opportunity to thoroughly test it's durability. The included wraps to secure the cord when coiled were nice to have. After I cut the cord to further investigate the miswiring, I did find one thing that reflects the cords lower price point - on most electrical cords there is additional material that is included with the wires that provides added strength so the tension is not solely on the wires themselves if the cord is pulled on. That strapping (not sure what the official term is) is often a cotton string, but was only rolled paper strands on this unit. Maybe it works fine but I'm sure it's not quite as durable as the cotton/fabric versions I've seen. For the price of this unit I wouldn't have taken a star off of it's rating for that.

this is one of the great deals i have found on amazon, the cord is heavy duty , all polarities in the plug ends match up , it runs my wirefeed welder flawlessly without even getting warm I wish i could buy 2 more , but it seems amazon doesn'w want to stock any more , they are available on usa amazon with a large added shipping rate, but i have canadian prime and can not afford to pay usa amazon shipping at double the cost of the purchase price
