Seem to work just fine as over voltage protection for close to 12 volt sources. Your experience may vary. A current limiting, but more expensive power board is better if you are prone to such things like me. I also tend to pair these with a PTC, and a Schottky for additional protection. If you use these at least have a fuse, or way to figure out that they have triggered. Because they are guaranteed to get hot if you get close.

Used in brake light wiring job. These are soldered into turn signal, so it doesn't send pulses to other brake lights. 12v, use multiple times a day, have had zero problems. I also ohm'ed every single one I received and they were all nearly identical, and they all worked.

The product is advertised as 50 pieces. I only received 47! Please refund or send additional diodes to fulfill the advert.Once request is carried out , will improve review.
