These are the large size 500cp mantles. These mantles burn-in to a slender tube shape. I don't know if they're as bright as thorium (radioactive) mantles but they are plenty bright. So far, they seem very durable and are easy to tie on.

Good price for the quantity that you get. But these at Walmart and you pay over $12 for a single pair. As long as you do not touch them you can use them over and over.

These are waaaay too big to be equivalent to 21 type mantles. The small green is an actual 21 type. These are the large green ones. Fare too big. I have no idea what these are for.

Mantles in store around $5.00 for 2, fifty's for the price of 2 sets I don't care if they burn out every night , as long as they don't get bump around they seem to last , also enough of them to put in camper , lanterns , extra everywhere etc

Very large mantles. More appropriate for Petromax style lanterns and their clones, or the vintage large single mantle Coleman 500 CP lanterns. Very long. I had to fold the top down to make them work on a standard 220 double mantle lantern. Don't seem nearly as bright as Coleman mantles. Somewhat difficult to burn off. On the other hand, you get a lot of mantles for the money.

These are way to large for any 2 mantle lantern ever sold in USA. Create a potential dangerous situation if used on Coleman lanterns. Disappointed that Amazon even has them. Thought I would try just for testing lanterns while I work on them but not even good for that.
