These screw protector caps are exactly what I needed for a storm door. A pin holding a window on door kept coming out of the track. Not sure why, whether the pin was a bit too short or it’s track was perfectly aligned. I put one of these caps on the end of the pin and it now holds the window in the track. The door is black so you can’t see it.

I have concluded AMAZON is a great place to buy all the components we need for our after-school HAM Radio Club. This is one of many components I've purchased so each student can assemble and tune up their DIY UHF/VHF antenna. Once they pass their TECHNICIAN exam, they are free to take their antenna along with the HAM radio our sponsors have purchased to recognized their achievement. We used these protectors on the end of each ground plane radial and the driven element to help prevent any cut or poke from the welding rods used in the DIY antenna project.

Falls right off a 5/16 bolt. Total waste of money. I'm returning them. Hard for it to protect something if its laying on the ground
