This is a great "secret stash" idea for small jewelry, or money. Great to have in your car, or if your going on a trip. Can't even tell its a stash can safe. U could even keep it in your fridge for the best possible place no one would ever find it. It looks, and feels exactly like a regular full, and unopened can of Dr. Pepper. Its perfect. The price is right, and its a lifesaver! In my case, I use it as a deter against my roommates son who has been in my room when I have been gone, and stolen money from me in the past. I know I shouldn't even have to deal with this, but just in case, I have this to keep my money safe. The best part, is that it just looks like an everyday can, which is why its a great idea. I have had a couple of these before, and they are all cool. They are made nicely, not cheap, and everyone should have one, its a great lifesaver idea. Especially if u have problems like I have. It really works for me. Highly recommended product.

This looks like a regular can of Dr pepper. Can't tell the difference between this one and a real can. I keep mine in the refrigerator with the real Dr pepper cans. It will hold quite a few things. Very easy to open and close I am very pleased with this purchase and I think I might even buy another one.

This is a great find; we can now keep valuable things in plain sight with little risk. These diversion "safes" are made from actual cans. They cut just the top off, and put a smaller spin top bottle inside the can and add enough glue to make the weight about right. The spin top for the smaller bottle is glued to the top of the can they have cut off, so now the whole top of the can spins off, and you can access the smaller bottle. The feel of the weight seems to be right on for a standard 12oz can.My only 2 minor complaints are: If you plan on stashing cash in these diversion cans, it can be a little difficult to access bills inside the bottle due to the neck down of the spin top bottle inside. Also since they are made from real cans, both the ones we received had older Dr. Pepper promotions on the cans, these could be a giveaway if anyone was to look closely.

My twins are obsessed with our sodas. But mostly just Dr. Pepper. Maybe it’s the color. They’re a year and a half. I was worried they would bust a can so I got these. They double as a piggy bank. I put their Christmas money from Nana in there. The tab doesn’t move really. Can flick a little though. And it’s not full of cement like someone else said, this is important because a cement can will break a toe but this might just hurt a little. It’s plaster. It will dent just like a normal soda can, especially on the top where there is no plaster. The plaster gives a bit when it’s dropped. Eventually the twins will have it pretty much powdered again. But I’ll fix it with some new plaster. It’s not at all a deal breaker. The joy on their faces when they got these today. If you’re considering this for a child as a diversion tactic, the plaster is softer than those clay archeological kits. Easily pushed into with a few pounds of pressure but strong enough to roll around for hours with no damage apparently. They also suck at unscrewing things because they’re babies and don’t even know to unscrew the top so the plaster shouldn’t hurt them at all.Save your soda cans, get the baby diversion 23 (this product)

I had wanted one of these for a long time. The good: It truly looks like a can of Dr. Pepper. If you mixed it in with real Dr. Pepper it would be difficult to pick it out especially if you had more than one (so you won't have just 1 odd can in a case). The price is great, cheap enough to buy several. It even seems to be similar in weight as a real can of soda. Same size as a can of soda. The bad: The SMELL THE SMELL THE SMELL! And it will penetrate anything you put in it. So I figured if I left it in the hot sun light maybe that smell would diminish. No noticeable difference after a week in the sun. This was after washing it in anything and everything I could think of including bleach ect.. So the next bright idea I had was to coat it in paint. I could deal with paint fumes much better than the smell that was emitting from the can. So I bought an expensive paint made to cover anything, that smell was still there a month later. So the last thing I tried was finger nail polish...again I figured anything would have to smell better. Well it has been over a year with the lid off and the inside painted twice and that smell is still there. I seriously cannot even smell the paint any longer, just that putrid smell that has been there since I bought it. If anyone has any other ideas feel free to suggest away. I would love to be able to use this but until that smell goes away I refuse to put anything else in the can.

I have multiple of these diversion safes, and in most of them, the plaster filling goes nearly to the top in order to support the can. in the photos, the Dr. Pepper can is the one I just received, the green mountain dew can is my old one. this is going to make it really easy for the top part to dent inadvertently. definitely not something I would feel comfortable carrying around in a backpack. if you just need it to sit on a shelf and look pretty, it should work fine for that, everything else works and it looks good from the outside.

My 8 year old son loves his hidden storage. He hides his money or small toys from his sister. It’s extremely realistic. I couldn’t tell a difference between it and a real Dr Pepper can. It’s even the same weight as a soda can. I’m pretty sure it was originally an actual Dr Pepper can that was emptied and modified. It’s pretty cool. I thought about getting one for myself and putting it in the back of the fridge as a secret mini-chocolate stash. Lol. There’s a Spam can version of this floating around on Amazon as well that I got my daughter. It’s not weighted, though. So, you’d notice something was off if you picked up. Still, it’s pretty cool as well. It has more storage space.
