Two of three did its job, -> except one of three was broken! No visual differences.Have 3 printers, the one damaged RAM didn't work in any of my 3 printers. DOA!

When I saw the price for the manufacturer's memory upgrade for my HP P4015 printer, I practically fainted - it was hundreds of dollars! When I saw the price for this memory upgrade, I was a little skeptical. Could something that inexpensive really work?YES IT DOES! PERFECTLY.The little memory stick arrived very well packaged in static resistant materials, I followed the instructions for installation (very easy), and less then 120 SECONDS later, my printer was powering up with half a gig more of RAM! IT WAS THAT EASY!In under 2 minutes, I opened the box, installed the ram, and the printer was ready to go. You don't have to change the printer configuration at the printer. YOU DO NEED to change the PRINTER PROPERTIES at each computer that uses this printer to show the new memory.TWO CAUTIONS:1. The front printer display (P4015) will NEVER show more than 128mb on start up because that is the only memory it checks on startup. PRINT THE CONFIGURATION PAGE and it will show that the machine has the 512mb RAM installed (assuming it was installed correctly).2. The HP Printer Driver (yes, I downloaded and installed the most recent UPD for PCL 6) does NOT configure correctly for this printer (this is NOT a problem with the RAM, it is an HP problem!) because, among other problems, it does not allow one to set the available ram above 384mb on Device Settings. Again, this is an HP problem, NOT a gigaram problem.

Put in a printer that was constantly losing the print jobs due to the ram filling up....hasn't skipped a beat yet!!!

I bought this item for a Dell 2155cdn Color Multi Function Printer, works like a charm, right away recognized.Beats the original Dell part by almost $100 ... nice saving!
