I was trying to clean a drain in one of my restaurants and I dropped a scraper down the floor drain and couldn’t get it out with the grabber we had as the auger was too small. I ordered this, and it’s a good thing I ordered one so long because I had to feed most of it down the drain. The auger was able to pick up my scraper and bring it out safely on the first try! Very pleased with it! The quality of the materials seems good!

After a house gathering, my toilet was clogged up for 3 days. The plunger could not clear it and so I bought a toilet snake, which also failed to clear the clog. I looked on Amazon and found this which worked perfectly the first time and pulled out what was stopping the toilet up.

We went to use it for the first time and when we put it in toilet to push it down the hole the claw came undone and now it won't open and close anymore with the trigger. This all happened the first time we used it. Good thing it wasn't very expensive bc it broke right away. Would not recommend this tool to anyone.

I thought this thing was kind of gimmicky but was willing to try anything. whatever was in the toilet was keeping it from flushing correctly. First try grabbed a plastic toy wrench.... Worth every cent

It did not retrieve any foreign object, but I was not expecting it to. The snake did clear the drain eventually - based on my experience, you want the grabber closed while you're inserting it into the drain until you find the obstruction. Then back off a tiny bit, and open and close the claws.As others have pointed out there are no written instructions in English. The package of gloves has Chinese writing on it, but I don't know if it has any useful information. The two black brushes are intended to clean the toilet bowl, but I'm not even sure they're designed for a western style toilet

Bathroom at work was clogged up because people always throw paper towels in there. This cleared it up easily, the claw was really useful since I could pull some of the towels out instead of trying to push the clog further down - that cleared enough so the rest could be cleared with a flush. Great product for clogs that are relatively shallow in your toilet drain.

We bought this after having guests over our home and our toilet hasn't been properly flushing- we tried all avenues before doing this. didn't find anything. but definitely scratched up the inside bottom of out toilet and still have a problem.
