ProNo leaks from the gasket area or between my portafilter basket and the device. If your's is leaking there probably time to clean and replace the rubber gasket that surrounds the shower head.I did get some splattering but it was from the bottom of my basket when my pucks weren't packed well. this is not a shortcoming of the item.Cons-it's steel and not brass like the original Gaggia portafilter which is plated brass. This disadvantage manifests itself in wet messy pucks as there's virtually no heat retention in the portafilter to dry it out. Further the lack of heft makes it hard to knock out the mess into your knock box

I bought this to go with my De'Longhi Stilosa Manual Espresso Machine, Latte & Cappuccino Maker, 15 Bar Pump Pressure + Milk Frother Steam Wand, Black / Stainless, EC260BK, 13.5 x 8.07 x 11.22 inches which I also bought here on Amazon. This is my first foray into the world of espresso making and this is my first accessory. The ports filter that came with the machine is perfectly adequate. I read a review that this filter would level up our espresso game so I thought I’d give it a try. First cup using this portafilter has a more robust, richer, nuttier flavor with our standard coffee. I recommend this filter and can confirm that it fits the previously mentioned machine.

I love the look, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seal properly and sprays all over my Delonghi Stilosa. I tightened it as far as it could be tightened, and it still just leaked everywhere, so I returned it. I can’t speak for other machines, but it disappointed for my machine.

Everything worked well fit-wise. No issues with leaking or griding mating surfaces. It's just a hair looser than the stock portafilter, but still locks in at 6 o'clock.I went back and forth between this and the stock portafilter basket and ended up using this one. Only gripe is that between the retention lip in the basket and the retention spring, it takes quite a bit of force to remove (not so with the Gaggia stock basket). Still have a busted knuckle from my first attempt at removal. The fit/finish of the handle is very reasonable for the price. I liked the handle off my old 3-eared 51mm CAPFEI bottonless portafilter, and sure enough, it uses the same threads to attach to the filter body, so I was able to swap it without a problem.Disregard other peoples' comments about "coffee spraying everywhere." Sorry folks, but that's a skill issue. Watch a few videos on dialing in your grind if you run into that problem. The point of a bottomless portafilter is to see what's going on, and in their case, the goings on are a mess.

I'm very pleased how well this works with my old EC702. I've had no problem putting gup to 18g of coffee into this portafilter though I tend to use between 16g and 17g for most of my receipies. If I were to pick a nit, occasionally I have a problem putting the portafilter onto the head but I'm putting that down as operator error and not due to the design of the product.

First, I am using this pf on a Delonghi Stilosa (EC260) - my overall experience of it is that it is excellent, and provides great and consistent espresso shots.I had one issue when first using it: the puck was only half extracted, some sharp spills and ages to get the coffee out. I then realised that my shower screen was too tight from the last clean, forcing water only on half of the puck.My guess is that the original pressurised basket is a lot more forgiving of this kind of issues, because you have to grind very coarse to get a shot in a decent time - this means that imbalance in the water pressure does not matter much as most of the resistance comes from the bottom of the puck / basket, not the top of the puck. After unscrewing the shower screen a little bit, and making sure the water flowed evenly, the pf worked perfectly well. I suspect, overloading the puck with too much coffee, or a dirty puck screen could create similar issues . Just to be clear: this issue will be the same for ANY bottomless pf vs a pressurised basket and has more to do with the poor design of the Stilosa.I 100% recommend this pf - it feels excellent quality and provides a significant upgrade over the Delonghi pressured basket, only caveat is that you have to be a lot more cautious about how you tinker with your Stilosa, especially after a clean.
