This inlet valve worked perfectly for my Kenmore washer. It was super easy to install and saved me from buying a new machine. Here’s what worked for me:1. Turn Off Water and Power: Make sure to shut off the water supply and unplug the washer before starting.2. Keep a Towel Handy: There might be a bit of leftover water when you disconnect the old valve, so have a towel ready to catch it.3. Check the Connections: Double-check that the hoses and wires are securely attached to the new valve before testing the machine. My washer is working like new again, and it only took about 20 minutes to replace. Definitely worth it!"

Replaced leaking hot water valve on my LG washer. It is the correct valve and everything but the threads for the hose connection (which are plastic on all of these) were not made in the correct pitch. Threads should be a standard 3/4 GHT but these are more fine threaded. Makes the attachment of the hose tighter and more difficult than it should be but they do conform during installation as long as you don't cross thread them and do hold after it is tight. Inexpensive, quick, and so far durable. But the janky threads lost it a star.

After my mother reported her washing machine was leaking, my father did some troubleshooting and found the hot water valve was the culprit. Eager to fix it quickly, he called a local business and got sticker shocked when told the valve was going to cost him $30.This was Prime eligible for One day delivery, and cost less than half the price so despite seeing so many negative reviews, we decided to roll the dice.Well, we got snake eyes. The valve we received was of poor quality by brittle, flaky plastic, had a finer thread pitch than the original valve (so this part wouldn't have fit the washing machine's threads) AND the connector was off by 90 degrees, so not only would the valve not fit, the washing machine's connector wouldn't have reached the valve's connector! The part number on the box was correct, but clearly the part was not only of subpar quality but was clearly the wrong part altogether.I returned this valve, and my father coughed up the $30 for the valve sold by the local business. Said valve is of equal quality compared to the original one, and dropped right in to the washing machine. Moral of this review story: Just buy parts like this locally. Yes, it's painfully expensive, but trying to save money by buying parts like this is going to cost you time and possibly money as well.

We noticed water under our washing machine and took the top panel off and found the valve appeared to be leaking. On our LG machine, this was easy to access and simple to replace. It solved the leaking problem and seems to be working great for well over a month now. Before junking your machine, take a quick look and try to troubleshoot it. You may be able to save hundreds of dollars and have a bit of fun solving a simple problem.

My washing machine was leaking and not functioning properly. The repair man said it would be at least $200 to fix. I fixed it for $9 and it works great. It was so easy to install.
