Split-Type Vacuum Lids are designed to release pressure by venting air from the jar during processing and cooling. If pressure isn't vented properly, it may warp the lids and prevent a good seal. Before use, please remember:
- Screw the canning rings down just to fingertip tightness.
- Avoid over-tightening, as it may cause the jar lids to swell and deform, preventing gas release during water bath canning or pressure canning.
- Food grade metal mason jar lids with BPA-free silicone seals.
- Versatile Leak-Proof Regular Mouth Mason jar lids that are resistant to high and low temperatures can be used for pressure canning, water bath canning .
- We pack with care, in thick and hard cartons.
How to get the most out of your canning lids:
- Please store in dry environment.
- Before first use we recommend soaking in hot water to remove any impurities caused by transport and to soften silicone seal.
- Please hand dry immediately to prevent rusting and corrosion from water droplets after washing.
- Fill a jar with food and wipe away any residue. Next, place the lid and rim on, and tighten. Let the jar sit for at least 24 hours, and then push on the lid to ensure it doesn't flex.
- These lids and rings/bands are ONLY designed to fit Regular Mouth canning jars.

These lids are perfect for canning at a low cost! I have had no issues with them sealing correctly. Definitely high quality! They fit my ball mason jars great!

Lids are a decent import standard. No failures. I don't expect Superb linings, but see no reason to doubt these for a few years over corrosives like pickles or tomatoes. The Rings are finished well enough to not come out of the first canning rusty. More importantly, the threads on the rings are properly embossed in thick enough metal. You shouldn't have any of those blowoffs that have become too common recent years. If you have a bunch of different age rings in your stash, you can learn to see which of the newer ones are prone to blow off. These make a decent replacement. As I weed out rusty, weak, and shallow threaded rings from my stash, I know that this is useful quality. These rings will get Superb lids for the next lap, and probably many to follow. Happy canning.

Work to sel but s with Ball's purchased the same is they sel will not last as ones of past. The seals are not same as past flats it seems from any brand.

Not only are these a great price, but they work perfectly! I started making jam and quickly realized you cannot skimp on the lids. These screw on nicely and make a beautiful "pop" when they seal. I am using them with 8oz jars, typically Mainstays (Walmart) but I've also used them with Ball, and they fit great! I would definitely recommend them!

These r perfect, I make jams And jellies and I’m extremely happy that every single lid sealed which almost never happens. The price can’t b beat anywhere, trust me I’ve looked and I prefer the silver vrs the gold color which probably doesn’t matter to most ppl it’s just my preference. It’s been a few months now and they r holding tight which to me is the true test. If ur looking for an excellent performance and a high quality product look no farther, u get 5 stars from me! I will b buying more

i have a large garden and like to can some of my veggies. have different size jars - but the lids have been used and most of them are unusable for a 2nd time. so, i just want the lids - ones i can trust will be safe and secure. also do not want to pay am outrageous sum. very pleased with shipping, product quality and pricing.
