I had given up hope on this bolt. I tried an old extractor, which damaged the extractor. Then, I opened up this kit and tried the bolt, which came out in less than one minute. If you used other kits and wrote them all off, give this one a shot.

Went to replace the map sensor, but one of the bolts broke. Used the first three small size drill bits to get it out of the throttle body. Glad none of the bits broke with this set.

49pc not 53pc (photos shows the actual so not surprised). To follow what others have said about bits not "secured", they are correct. The only item secured by pressure tabs is the drill to socket attachment, everything else is just placed in slots and will fall out if you knock it over open. Side note - when closed and secured nothing is displaced. 4/5 till after I use it and the title/description changes.

I’ve only used a couple of the pieces so far to back out some broken bolts and it has worked great. I was recently replacing the valve cover gaskets on one of my cars due to an oil leak and found that one of the bolts was broken. There were no threads sticking up to get a bite on and my cheap extractor set had failed me so I bought this. The screw was out within 60 seconds. I’ve tried it on a couple other things since and it has performed great. This is a great budget set to keep in the toolbox.

For the price and the fact is says affordable on the sticker on the kit (usualy a red flag) this kit has saved my but multipule times now. Even extra stripped nuts on a Torque converter with extensions and swivels used. The sliver style that I was hesitant about is by far my new favourite tool for taking off problematic fasteners.
