The Amazon package arrived with two boys, 8 and 9 barely able to restrain their emotions. They were going to be paleontologists. Yes, they are digging for dinosaurs in our back yard. With the hammer, they dug up fragments of brick, with the chisels they tore into some concrete blocks and the list goes on. They were so excited to get so many tools for the trade. My youngest even took the compass to Walmart to guide my wife around the store. Just so they wouldn’t get lost. Now the hammer should not be used as a hanging device. My youngest decided to hang from their fort by its handle. The rubber handle simply slid off with his weight pulling hard and as he dropped with rubber in hand, the metal hammer followed and bonked him on the head. Ok so lesson learned. The hammer is for hammering not hanging! 🤣. We paid around $60 for each kit and I must say that it was worth it.

Has everything you’d need for a quick trip out rock hunting and digging. Would recommend. Not heavy and carrying case is nice.

I just received this product today. Overall happy with it but the plastic boxes that were included were both broken inside the box. They are made from a very thin poor plastic.

Perfect items to start out with when rockhounding & only downfall the bag is uncomfortable on my shoulders (shoulder swapping often) so a backpack 🎒 style is a better fit for me, using the bag to keep ot All together 🥳

Thought this would be a nice little starter set for the kids to be able to dig for treasures. It came in a box wrapped and taped in plastic. It smells as if it’s been sitting in a damp dungeon for 50 years. Everything inside is tossed in. Boxes inside the kit were damaged and busted open. The hardware on the side of the bag is corroded.I had to put it outside because it is smelling up my whole living room. This is a joke! Definitely not worth the money!!
