Replacement for another brand I couldn't return, accidentally touched wire and it works too good. Animals won't come near the fence

The charger worked great when installed then stopped working after 2 weeks. I returned it for a replacement and that one quit in just shy of 3 months. Not built for long term useage.

The seller (also the manufacturer?) reached out to me after seeing my review and went above and beyond to make it right about the power supply. Really excellent customer service.I have had the fence running for a few weeks now and so far everything is great. I am showing little to no voltage drop across my small Original review follows:**********The unit offers a lot of features, is powerful, and the main unit itself, despite some typos, seems well made overall (though I've only had it running a day).All that said, the included power supply was both obviously poorly made (it feels like it weighs about half an ounce) and was completely defective out of the box. It was a pretty standard 12V 2A power supply though, so I scrounged around the house for another one, which fortunately I was able to find.That makes this hard to rate. Had the included power supply worked and been decent quality, I would have rated it five stars. As it stands, 3 at best.

Love the fence alarm, it's very loud and when Elk or other large wildlife cross our fence we know it immediately.It's got two nice hot connecting points, hot and really hot.It's held up good in Pacific Northwest wet weather and we really like everything about it.Very easy install.Worth every penny and more.

It’s working great for a week now but the comments about the wire binding posts are spot on, the nuts are useless as they have no washer or flange and the plastic covers on the nuts are are garbage - so be prepared to secure wires to a post without a nut. Otherwise I’m quite satisfied so far. I see comments tht the power supplies fail easily and I work with electronics for a living and can see they aren’t robust. However they are easily replaceable inexpensively with a more robust replacement on Amazon if you know how to match or rewire a barrel connector. Overall it’s great for me as long as the main unit works and I’m very happy with the price. Better binding posts would have earned 5 stars, there’s really no excuse for how terrible the nuts are!

I have just started using it so I will update after a while.I have used it for a 1000 feet length fence with AC power and it works well.The alarm is useful and the sensitivity can be lowered (I have some wet grass touching it).Next I will test it with a battery and solar panel, let's see how it works.

I bought this for a chicken netting fence. 80x80. I started using it in middle of August and now the first week in December it's not working. So 7weeks $50 dollars lost. It's only plugged in at night relatively 8pm- 7am it's out of the rain and snow stays dry. Definitely not worth it.
