The size of the probe is perfect at 5.5mm. Most of them I had found were 8mm or up. Also this one is dual camera with a straight and a 90degree. The led light for what i do is more than enough for both cameras. Switching between them is as simple as clicking a button. You get two rechargeable 18650 batteries. If a battery should go bad you can get another, it's not hardwired into the unit rendering it useless if the battery dies. This is a stand alone device, you don't need to download and app or have the internet like many of the plug and play phone scopes. There is a slot for a memory card to take pictures and video but it is not required to operate the device nor does one come with the device. The batteries are charged in the device with a supplied cable. We used an older iphone plug (not the fast charging version) to charge the batteries. Would recommend getting a dedicated charger for the batteries to eliminate wear and tear on the device; this would eliminate using the device as a charger.Would by again. I have no idea on the devices longevity (only time will tell) but it has more than paid for itself already in my mind.

I have used and reviewed several types of endoscopes/borescopes before, and this one comes with all needed and as entry level, affordable price. The ‘handheld design of this borescope, certainly is one of the most practical and easy to use, aside of its double camera (front and side) that can be switched with a dedicated push button. The instrument comes with 2 rechargeable AA batteries, a sim card to store videos and photos, and USB 3 port for charging. The five menu buttons are cleverly positioned to be easily accessed with one hand while operating the probe, and are intuitive. The borescope comes with a good semi-rigid probe of 5 meters length and each camera (forward & side) has its own LED lights.I like the idea that the probe can be detached form the display unit, so it can be easily replaced by a new one, I case is damage (I find out that the whole instrument is completely useless due to damage of the probe or camera, which is the weakest point); so, making it removable is very useful and practical. I tested it by recording a couple of videos and taken a few snapshots inside my car’s engine bay and the images were sharp and clear and of decent quality for diagnosis and inspections so at this price level, I think they’re pretty good to fit the task.Overall, is a good entry level borescope, well priced to be afforded for any serious DYI, that will potentially pay itself with the first use. I wish it had come with a carrying case as other brands already include, but at this current value, I can’t complain, is a valuable tool to have at one’s disposal when needed. The ILIHOME Endoscope Camera with Light is great. I namely selected this due to the product details statement showing this: "The actual resolution of video recordings of all endoscope cameras on the market is 480P (interpolated 1080P), and opening the video recordings on a computer shows a blurred and uneven image, This ILIHOME endoscope uses an improved motherboard and camera that can record true 1080P videos and photos that are clear and smooth whether they are played back on the endoscope or on the computer". Now I'm no AV expert so I can't tell for sure, but the videos produced are 1080p, and they do seem quite sharp. The video on the unit doesn't compare to an actual 1080p camera/camcorder but that may be due to how the unit captures video data. Another review was inquiring about turning off the light, and yes you can record video without the light. The main power button turns off the light (also does brightness settings). Some testing in videos, I was able to capture my skin and hair follicle details as well as fingerprints! I'd say the video quality is pretty good. Initial test unit I had was defective, seemed to have its polarity switched in the LCD, you could see it power on, but like a negative, very dark, or no light panel activity. Replacement unit worked flawless. One can select from lower resolutions if needed as well. Easy to use, takes pics and videos. And the dual lens is awesome. Great quality.

For a device that’s not expensive and user friendly, it’s worth having in your toolbox

First, I’ll have to admit that this is my first endoscope, so it’s taken me a bit to get used to maneuvering the little camera so I can actually see things; that’s my flaw, though, not the endoscope’s. I wanted it because things disappear under the couch, and I swear, there’s a black hole under my car seats.I love the large display on this one; no squinting trying to figure out what I’m seeing (or if there is, it’s because I’ve positioned it right in the middle of a dust bunny). The cable is stiff but bendy and reshapable, so I can point it where I want it. It’s also long - I’m not going to run out of cable for anything I’m doing.This comes with a rechargeable battery + a spare, as well as a charging cord. It does not come with the 5v power adapter specifically required, or the microSD card you’re supposed to use if you want to take pictures or record video. If you’re not going to take pictures or video, though, the latter doesn’t really matter - it still works fine for looking under or inside things. I did test it with a microSD card, and the picture & video features worked just fine.My only complaints are that the battery compartment is really hard to get open - admittedly a problem hardly unique to this product - and I had to look through my power adapters to find one that’s specifically 5v. Not hard to find, but it’s a bit irritating.Overall, I’m very pleased with this one and glad I got it.

Venía usando hasta ahora un endoscopio que enchufaba vía OTG a mi móvil pero este endoscopio es otra liga...La cámara dual de 5,5 mm entra por sitios que con mi anterior endoscopio de 8 mm no podía , con este endoscopio no solo puedo entrar por orificios bastante pequeños , que además como tiene cámara dual puedo ver lo que hay en los laterales tan solo apretando botón, por ejemplo, si necesitas ver el estado de un pistón cuando introduces este endoscopio a través del agujero de la bujía no solamente puedes ver la cabeza del pistón sino que también puedes ver las paredes del cilindro, super útil.Por otra parte el cable es rígido y eso ayuda para llevar la cámara donde necesitas. Mi antiguo endoscopio era de cable flexible y aunque tenía una longitud de dos metros a partir de 10 centímetros quedaba inutilizado porque se iba hacia abajo.La calidad de imagen es muy buena y se ve perfectamente a través de su pantalla ,no como antes que tenía que ver a través de la pantalla del móvil y había veces que se perdía la conexión si no hacía bien contacto el USB ,o al manipular el móvil lo movías , o simplemente se cerraba la aplicación...Funciona con una batería 18650 e incluye dos , así que la autonomía está más que asegurada

Ob diese Kamera mit Endoskop tatsächlich industriellen Anforderungen genügt, wie der Hersteller in seiner Artikelbeschreibung angibt, vermag ich nicht zu sagen, wage es aber zu bezweifeln. Für den semiprofessionellen Anwender und den Heimwerker ist diese Endoskopkamera aber gut brauchbarl - zumal ich darauf hinweisen möchte, dass ich zu diesem Preis nichts besseres kenne.Ich habe zwar eine Endoskopkamera, die sich per USB-C mit dem Handy verbinden lässt und dann mit einer speziellen App im Wesentlichen genau dasselbe kann, wie die Kamera von Ilihome - aber so etwas würde ich wegen des ungünstigen Handlings nicht mehr kaufen. Diese Kamera kann bequem am ergonomischen Handstück, das auch den auswechselbaren Akku beherbergt, gehalten werden - und das vereinfacht das Endodskopieren, das ja durchaus Fingerspitzengefühl erfordert, doch erheblich.Der Endoskopkopf hat zwei Kameras: Eine Frontkamera und eine seitliche - sehr sinnstiftend und geschickt, weil der Kamerakopf ja starr ist und nicht einfach um 90 Grad abgewinkelt werden kann. So ist das Endoskop einfach nur zu drehen und die Ansicht umschalten. Die Kameraköpfe sind von hinreichend hellen LEDs umsäumt, so dass selbst in weiteren Rohren ein helles, klares und vor allem kontrastreiches Bild gegeben ist, mit dem sehr eindeutige Rückschlüsse auf den Zustand des examinierten Areals gezogen werden können.Mit dem Endoskop lassen sich nicht nur Abwasserrohre und Installations- und Kabelschächte, sondern auch Zwischendecken kontrollieren, der Zustand unter Unterspannbahnen beurteilen… Auch am KFZ kann ein Einsatz für sachkundige Menschen sinnstiftend sein, ebenso im Heizungsbereich. Die Anwendungsgebiete sind hier sehr vielfältig.Die fünf Meter langen gut zum Endoskopieren, allerdings könnte der Endoskopschlauch etwas starrer sein. Denn mit diesem halb-steifen Schlauch ist es unter anderem recht schwierig, um einen klassischen Waschbeckensiphon zu kommen. Schade, denn der Kamerakopf ist so dünn, dass er problemlos in jeden Guss eingeführt werden kann.Also man kann mit diesem Endoskop nur bedingt arbeiten - aber aufgrund der Seitenkamera kann man sich auch anders behelfen, z.B. mit Gaffa an einer Abflussreinigungsspirale befestigen - dank der seitlichen Kamera funktioniert das.Mein Tipp zum Endoskopieren ist ohnehin, das Endoskop so weit wie möglich ins Rohr oder den Hohlraum vorzuschieben und beim Rückholen dann den jeweiligen Bereich zu examinieren.Die Bildqualität ist eher so mittel - aber lässt definitiv Schlüsse auf Verstopfungsgrade, Korrosion o.ä. zu. Zur Illustration der Bildqualität habe ich mal ein Foto, das mit der Seitenkamera des Endoskops gemacht wurde, angefügt. Was man in Abwasserrohren zu sehen bekommt, gäbe echt eine super Kulisse für einen Horrorfilm! Bilder und Videos werden auf eine microSD-Karte gespeichert (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). Was mir hervorragend gefällt: Es ist nicht nur ein tauschbarer Akku vorhanden, sondern gleich ein Ersatzakku und eine entsprechende Box, die diese Spezialgröße aufnimmt. Top!Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Tool. Bitte keine Wunder erwarten - aber den vorgesehenen Job tut das Teil im Haushalt auf jeden Fall!
