About this item

  • M2 HSS material: 5/8 bridge reamer is made of high-quality M2 high-speed steel, with high toughness, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and long service life. Size: 1-1/16", Flute Length: 5", Overall Length: 7", Hex Shank Size: 1-5/8"
  • Reamer Design: The tip is tapered, the tapered tip design allows the reamer to fit into unevenly overlapping holes, aligning the bolt holes. Makes reaming holes out extremely easier than using large drill bits, the reamed hole is smooth without tear-outs. Enlarging the holes in the steering knuckles and pitman arm.
  • Overlapping Hole: The 5/8" bridge reamer bit is not a drill bit, only aligning reamer to aligh holes which are pre-drilled. There must be a existing hole or a pilot hole that is smaller than 5/8" before using our 5/8" Bridge/Construction Reamer.
  • Safe Operation: Reamers are designed with helical flutes and safety stops to keep chips away from the operator. Safety ring stops to prevent overpenetration and loss of operator stability, making it safe and secure to use.
  • Wide Application: Suitable for enlarging or aligning existing holes in a variety of structural materials such as aluminum, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, iron, metal, nickel, plastic, steel, etc. Commonly used in bridge, construction, steel construction/fabrication and automotive (truck and trailer) industries, note: it requires an existing hole or requires a pilot hole.
