I already own a tapered reamer that has a cross bar to use it by hand. However, this tapered reamer is great for using with a drill. Its quality is excellent. I have used it on wood and light metal. So far it has kept its sharpness.

Used for reaming out a pitman arm on my jeep, worked like a charm. Cut like butter with some cutting fluid

I don't usually post a review on anything I haven't used yet so I dont know the quality of the cutting edge and how it will hold up. But first glance the tool is heavy weight, so solidly expect the cutting edge to work more then once. Time will tell, I'll update if I can.

Worked well for a few minutes. While boring my front shackle brackets, with oil, caught one time and bent the shaft. I only had two holes to ream so went cheap. Bad idea

I used this to drill my jeep hubs out for 1 ton steering. It just powers through the metal.
