I have used it on pretty much all of fish in salt and fresh water. I use it to protect the knot and attract fish. Whether brook trout,crappie, bass ,salmon or perch in fresh water or haddock, striped bass or mackerel in salt water I catch more when I add it. Give it a try and increase your catch.
