Our insulation company uses full face respirators with carbon filters every day as we work in crawlspaces and attics. Using these pre-filters is a must to extend the life of the carbon filters. We have used both 3M brand and these and don't seem to notice much difference. It is just a particulate filter so we don't worry about going with an off brand. We do use strictly 3M for the actual carbon filter though. If you are looking for the best deal on a pre-filter this is the best we can find right now. Just make sure to change them out before they get clogged or stop working.

These filters do exactly what they are supported to: keep the paint fumes out. I have a paint room, and these do the trick.

These are refills and I just received the Mask so I can't rate them other than say they are the same as the original filters that came with the mask so I can expect that they will serve the same purpose
