About this item

  • Specification: 1/16" Diameter, 1/4" flute length, 1/8" shank diameter, 1-1/2" overall length. 4-flute, HRC55, each milling cutter is individually packed in a solid plastic tube for protection
  • Excellent Cutting Performance: The AlTiN - BlackNano coating greatly increases the surface hardness of the ball mill, enabling it to resist wear generated during high-speed cutting. When processing materials of various hardnesses, it can maintain a long service life. Even in the case of continuous long-term cutting, it can still maintain good performance
  • Outstanding Surface Quality: The AlTiN - BlackNano coating has an extremely low friction coefficient. This enables the milling cutter to achieve a very low surface roughness value on the workpiece, meeting the requirements for high-precision processing. Whether processing materials with high viscosity such as aluminum alloy or materials that are prone to generating built-up edges such as stainless steel, the milling cutter with AlTiN - BlackNano coating can maintain a good cutting state and ensure the quality of the machined surface
  • Wide Application: Our ball end mills set are suitable for processing various materials, including metal materials such as copper, steel, and aluminum alloy. The end mill bits can be used for various processing methods, such as milling flat surfaces, curved surfaces, and grooves. Whether it is rough machining or finish machining, it can provide stable and reliable cutting effects, providing users with more processing choices
  • Green and Economic: Due to the good thermal stability and low friction coefficient of the AlTiN - BlackNano coating, the use of coolant can be reduced or even eliminated in some machining processes, which reduces the cost of machining and also reduces the pollution of the environment. The longer service life reduces the frequency of tool replacement and lowers production costs

Novice machinist here, take that into consideration. This bit has impressed me so far! There are no dinks or chips in the bit, and the coating on the end is evenly applied. All helpful information is inscribed on the side of the bit for easy calibration within your software which is a nice touch. The name of the company does not inspire confidence at all, so I can not speak to the longevity of this tool as of the time of posting. Initial impressions with this tool are good, but only time will tell whether it's worth it, or if you should spend your money on a well known brand with a good reputation.

I picked this up for some acrylic projects I had planned to cut/carve with my CNC router. The bit worked great, providing smooth cuts.I don't usually cut soft metals with a 4-flute bit this small, but I decided to do some experimenting with a product design I've been working on to be cut out of aluminum. With some adjustments to feed and speed, and some light misting, it cut the 6061 admirably.Overall I'm quite happy with this little bit and I think I'll pick up some more for future projects.

We're in the middle of re-tooling our garage, so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. The end mill arrived in a cute little plastic container. Seems fine.I figure writing a review with a picture is better than no review at all.

Got it for wood CNC router and it cut and carved well. I pushed it a bit to see how it handled it, and it did not clearly fail in any capacity. I don't know if the coating is effective, as I usually by Bits Bits coated products, but my limited experience didn't tell me that these were all that different from the good ones.I'll pick up a few more especially since the multiple packs really bring down the unit cost. Breaking an end mill hurts me to my core, and these will provide a good low-cost disposable option when hogging out material

ISO far this little fella has cut everything I’ve thrown at it, it cuts clean and with minimal rough leavings on the workpiece, I’ve yet to use it on high carbon steel, but it’ll happen in the near future and I’m pretty sure it’ll work just fine based on its performance so far on the other materials..So far ive milled stainless, brass, nickel, copper, bronze, and carbon fiber with it and it performed as it should and has stayed sharp…. I’ll end up buying again so I have a back up in case I break this one, which is kinda a common happening with smaller mills on harder materials

I am not a machinist, just a DIYer with a mini-mill in his shop. I have not needed a ball end bit before. But was challenged to make a small manifold, and I believe it will be better than a flat nose bit on those channels.Since I will be making it with Aluminum, I did test this with a small cut on some scrap Aluminum and it did well.My limited experience with milling has taught me to spend the extra for Carbide tooling. Carbide can be more brittle, so yes, you have to be mindful of that as you use it. However, it will hold its edge better than anything else I have used. This bit is sharp, and it cut well.

With in a second the 3/32 bit broke part of the flutes on a very light cut on steel. The 1/16 held up to the exact same cut. I have not tried the other 2 yet so I’m giving this 3 stars for now and will try to update.
