So as you may have seen from reading other reviews, these are not actual feather boas. They are made from some sort of fluffy material and they have shiny tinsel like pieces throughout. Not as long as the traditional boas either. I really would like to see the title of this listing changed to faux feather or something that isn’t misleading. Not everyone reads the description thoroughly or even at all. But to be fair, they do state in the description that no real birds were harmed in the making of these boas.They came in a shrink wrapped package so you’ll need to blow dry them or hang them in the sun to fluff them up. They did fluff up really nicely and the shiny silver tinsel bits add a nice sparkle.You can use these for DIY projects, Christmas trees or garland, dress up pretend play for the kiddos etc. If you have a purpose for this sort of thing and you’re not looking for real feathers, these are a great full and fluffy option!

Not real feathers, but they do not shed either.. these are actually great props for my Photobooth. They are on the thin side, i would prefer the thick ones, but the benefit is easier to handle and they will last longer.

I got a white Christmas tree this year and needed to fill out the center a bit so I wanted to try some boas. I have cats and they love feathers so traditional boas weren’t an option. These boas are exactly as described. They are fluffy and full and for being a featherless boa they are nice. I like the flecks of sparkle through the white. It worked for filling out couple of layers in my tree but I will need to get more to accomplish the look I’m aiming for. Overall it’s a nice product for the price, would recommend!

Is this the new trend, non feather boas? The description says feather boas but there are no feathers. It's more of shredded material. They don't shed but they aren't feathers either so definitely an inaccurate description.
