Tested these sensors on a P1AM PLC using a discrete input module. Close tolerances are needed, 4mm as specified by the manufacturer. There's a red LED on the back of the sensor to verify when the emitter is energized which is a nice feature. Spinning an 8 tooth reluctor wheel at 450 RPM, this sensor was able to pick up every pulse without missing a beat. Good sensors for the cost.
