Probably the strongest 2-56 taps I have ever used. Anyone that is familiar with small taps/dies knows how unforgiving they are. One little mistake and they explode. However these seem to be way above the bar. The strength is incredible, the threads are very accurate and the tool life is outstanding. They work great in hard and soft metals. I mainly tap aluminum and these out perform taps I have that cost 20 times as much! I bought 5 thinking I would destroy them pretty quickly and surprisingly I still have 5 taps even after dozens of holes.

Good taps, work well. Arrived on time and in good condition in a compartmentalized plastic box. Slightly smaller shank than a standard tap but I don't mind as it fits well in my tap handle. Would recommend.

Bought these for a scope mount I'm putting on an SKS. The screws are 8-40 that came with it. While I don't anticipate any issues using these taps because the work will be taking place on a mill, I will report back if they become or have issues. They do "look" like good quality, but the proof is in the finished product.

They're 6-32. They're tiny and will break if you're not careful. That's just a fact of any tap hard enough to not just twist. I'm teaching young kids how to use them so I ordered the multi-pack. They've only broken a couple so far. The threads though are perfectly formed when used properly.

Tapping 1/8 titanium, I would maybe get one hole, before the tap would dull or break, I usually can get at least 5 holes before this would happen. I’ll spend a little more next time.
