Adequate for some jobs. Buyer must consider that it has double-sided foam tape on the back that is thick enough to be pressed down on one side or the other, thus affecting the reading. However, for certain applications it might work well. A DIY person could probably easily remove the back of the double-sided tape and calibrate it to the specific item that it is being placed on using a thinner double-sided tape or some type of glue.

The bubble level is accurate and large, easy to read. The adhesive is kinda weak and doesnt want to hold on after an extended period of time.

The protective cover of the double adhesive tape must be peeled off very carefully. it may seem tempting to do it from the edge, but I damaged a little the foam and it indicated with an error. Best use the center to start opening the thin plastic cover and work slowly toward the edge. All 6 units indicated correctly the horizontal. One piece of data is missing from the description; accuracy. I placed one unit on a precision tilt stage and when you can notice the bubble has moved a bit, that is about 1 degree. When the bubble touched on the inside of the circle, that is about 2 deg. So, I'd say it can detect 1 deg. of tilt from horizontal.
