These sensors all work and perform as expected. They seem to be more precise than the LDRs I was using. I have a couple hooked up to an ESP32 to gradually control lights coming on in the evening. I average the values from two sensors in case one picks up stray light from a phone or something and it seems to work well enough. These are a little difficult to solder if you're inexperienced, if you're new to programming grab an LDR with two leads instead.

We ordered these Ambient Light Sensors (TEMT6000) from EC Buying for an Arduino project. The package comes with five sensors and five sets of pins that need to be soldered on.I soldered then tested every sensor, and they all worked great. I don't have an accurate way of measuring the accuracy of the return values, but the values were all reasonable given the testing conditions.Overall, I'm pleased with these sensors.
