The air inlet has a filter to prevent foreign matter from entering, and the air inlet is also a pneumatic oil filler port.

Use a wrench to insert the gap between the pad and the sander, find the wrench and rotate the disc to remove and replace the disc.

Instruction manual for 6 inches random orbit air sanders

  • Please check off all tightening parts of the tools to be in good condition before operation.
  • Working pressure to be 6.3 kg/cm3 (90PSI) at operation.
  • Please refer to Figure 1 for the tool installation. To install a filter and a lubricator/oiler at an air outlet
  • The best hand stress on the tool is from 5Kg to 7Kg when operation.
  • Release the air supply when replacing the sandpaper or the backing pad.
  • Wear protection glasses, eye protector, dust mask and gloves at operation.
  • Have a short break in every 30minutes to avoid any possible injury due to tiredness.
  • Do not have free rotating at high speed to avoid possible injury to the human body and possible tool damage.
  • Do not touch the rotating part of the tool with your hand or your body at operation.
  • Start your sanding job after you fit the sanding pad flat on the surface you are working on. Please refer to Figure 2.

Routine maintenance for 6 inches random orbit air sanders

  • Stop your Job when finding any irregular sound or vibration at operation and then check and repair the tool.
  • Because you are using clean compressed air at operation. Use an air filter at the air installation to clean the dust out of the compressed air.
  • Drop some Oil to the inlet of the tool and then run the tool slowly for a minute and finally start your work...Auto Lubricator/oiler is recommended.
  • Any dirt dust inside the motor may result in slow rotation even block running, at this time, try to drop some oil from the inlet, see whether solve the problem or return to the seller for maintenance.
  • Do release the water out of the air compressor and air hose after an operation.
  • Maintain tools with care. Keep tools clean for better and safe performance, follow instructions for lubricating. Inspect tools cords and air hoses periodically, if damaged, have them repaired by an authorized technician.

I hadn't used a pneumatic sander before, but when I started working on the paint on my Tahoe, I thought it might do better. It's sanding function works great, and it's a lot lighter than an electric sander. Of course, you do have the air hose, but I have a very flexible hose so that's not too much of a problem.If you have any body work to do, I would recommend this.

This thing rips. I do have heavy flow fittings. I tried it with my little pancake compressor and it still worked great. Great buy, especially for the moneys.

After 40 yrs in auto body & paint and paying upwards of $400 each, for sanders - This little thing is great - and "I an not easy on tools" and this 5 HP home air compressor spits as much water as air.... I'm buying another (same one) DA as a back up. I can't believe this thing - I got a big 7 hp shop compressor - With enough air - This works great - I use it as a grinder.... If you are a real professional Body & paint guy - You can't go wrong...

This thing is complete garbage. The first one failed during the first time using so I returned it and got a replacement. The second one did the same thing. POS. Do not buy.

Runs quiet and smooth. Speed adjustment is pretty sensitive but this thing gets the job done for a low price and if maintained properly I do not see it crapping out any time soon.
