What I received was definitely not 5000 grit paper. At best it may be in the 1200 grit category ... likely closer to 800 or 1,000.The worst part is that it had irregular grit all over the paper which would have completely damaged if not destroyed the paint job.First time I've ever seen anything this bad sold for automotive paint application.The price was wonderful, but the product is completely unusable.

got 20 of the 25 advertised low quality, and less then 6 inch so the pad hooks and loops scratch everything total junk
