I just purchased new bedroom nightstand and needed something rather thin with a bigger platform for my bedtime water glass. These work great at saving my nightstand plus the extra I use as plant coasters for any water drippings.

The items are as described. The cork pad is nice to look at and the black rubber underneath helps it not to scratch shelving or stain it.

They work at protecting my furniture. I use them for small terracotta pots. The backing on one began to peel away almost immediately. The others seem fine. For the price, they are sufficient but I would be willing to pay more for better quality. Also, the black backing contrasts highly with the color of the cork and is slightly visible from the side. If I ever need to replace them, I would prefer a neutral color that is similar to cork, so that it is less visible.

I ordered these to go under plants. The coasters fit perfectly under the pot protecting my furniture. They blend in and are not really visible. I would use them as regular coasters as well.
