I would prefer the strips to be longer since most of the stained glass designs are for 20 to 40 inches in length. The aluminum pieces seem durable and strong so they do not easily warp or bend with multiple uses and the strips are pre drilled so steel push pins work well in a cork or drywall base .

These were an add-on purchase to a system I already have. Nice short lengths to fill in, or to use along shorter sides. Secure easily to fiber board with the included push pins. Would buy again.

I discovered that my other set was a different width and that they were too short for the project that I needed. Ideally it it is a small stained glass project they would work when squaring up the project. In my case the piece was a two foot square and too large for them. Bought wooden yardsticks instead.

Overall, the product is useful, but I find arranging the bars in a good formation, and securing them without shifting things to be a rather challenging endeavor. But it would be even worse if I didn't have them, so that's a plus.It would be nice if the push pins that came with it were of the metal, non-meltable kind, but it's not a huge complaint. Pleased with the number of bars, somewhat happy with the length of them but could do with a couple shorter ones.
