To start out, these are very sturdy. They were functional as well considering the size was perfect for the 6 inch cake my girlfriend made! They aren't too thick but hold strong so no issues there! You get a lot for the price so they are definitely worth it.

Simple white cake boards. Perforated hole seems to be well cut. The few times I have had to punch it out, it has come off easily.

They fit a 6†cake exactly. Sturdy enough that the card didn’t buckle even after leaving the cake on top of the board in the refrigerator overnight and then for 2 more days. Good quality product.

I'm sure it works for cakes but I use them for craft projects. We made piñatas with them and also used them wrapping rope within the circles glued on to make coasters. Very versatile product.

They are round. They are 8" across. They are sturdy enough to hold a multi-layer devil's food cake. Can't ask for more than that
