We got this wire mesh roll to install at the bottom of the chain link fence all along one side of my yard. It's right next to a canal with hedges planted on the outside of the fence, but iguanas have been getting through (we are in Florida), and we believe they've been raiding a birds' nest(s) in the trees in our yard for eggs. We installed this mesh all along the bottom of the chain link fence. So far it's holding up and we haven't seen any iguanas in the yard since we installed it. This is a good product that has a lot of potential uses.

This one-hundred-foot roll of wire mesh weighs 7 pounds, which makes it easy to work with. I am putting my 300-watt solar panels in a ground mount configuration instead of a roof mounted system. I am increasingly concerned about hail damage, so I changed my plans after I ordered this mesh. I will be using this mesh in my chicken coup area to keep small rodents out. It should be perfect for that task.

I used this off label so consider this a review for just the 6" x 100' mesh material. I ended up running this under a fence of mine to prevent critters from tunneling under it, and so far so good! It feels pretty premium, and I like that it appears to be coated with something.

This stuff is so useful to have on hand for uses around the home and in the garden. I love that it is coated and therefor so much easier on the hands. Obviously, this roll will be too narrow for some jobs but it is just right with surprising frequency. When it is the right size, it is sooo much easier to work with than cutting down a wider roll.

A while ago, my husband made a safe sanctuary for when we are raising new kittens, and my husband made a nice vented door ffor one of the protective parts of the pen. The wire that he had to put the door together he only had widely spaced wire which the kittens can end up slipping through, so he needed tighter spaced wired, which this will do fine for. This wire isn't too wide for little kitten bodies to squeeze through and it will still give the growing kittens a chance to look at the world outside of their restricted pen. Easy to attach and install and should do well or the distant future.
