This holds the door open for our classrooms when the door locks automatically. We were using noodles cut up to keep the door open, bit the noodles were breaking. Since getting this product the doors are staying open and the students aren't breaking them putting them on the doors or removing them. They are also easy to remove when in a lock down situation.

It’s a simple product that prevents a toddler from shutting a door and smashing their fingers. Also easily hangs onto door handle when door is shut.

Our middle-aged cat has suddenly discovered the basement. I don't know why it took her 10 years, but she loves it and spends a lot of time down there now. But too frequently, she would be stuck down there crying to be let out because someone accidentally closed the door while she was down there. These bumpers work great. We considered installing a pet door, but that's a hassle -- it's permanent, and it costs more. This proved to be a very easy and inexpensive solution for our basement cat.

We have 4 cats and occasionally they’d lock themselves in rooms accidentally. These work great to keep our doors from closing and we have them on all doors. When you need to close the door you can move it to the handle.

The purpose of this foam piece is to stop a door from closing all the way. It's a great design and perfect in purpose for what I need it for (keeping a locked door ajar during non-emergency times). However, my door is heavy and closes with enough force that the rubber stopper gets a crease, then starts to tear at the crease over time. So, I use a rubber door stopper at the bottom of the doorframe and that takes the brunt of the force. If someone kicks the stopper away, the foam piece then performs its duty until I can put the door stopper back.If you are using it in a house with a door that doesn't close with a lot of force, you might not have any problems with this foam stopper. But it wasn't enough by itself for my situation.
