FULTON 4" Blastgate for Directing Airflow Where You Need It.
By simply opening and closing a properly installed blastgate you'll be able to direct you dust collectors airflow to the exact machine location you need it. This helps reduce wear and tear on your dust collector as well as increasing its efficiency by not having to draw in so much air from different locations. This also helps increase your suction power to help collect even more dust than without a blastgate.

Optimal Dust Collection Setup...
When using multiple machines at different times, the ideal way to achieve the best dust collection efficiency is to make sure that all the airflow is to one machine only. To do this, the common way is to add a blastgate on to each hose line to give yourself complete control of your dust collection system.
Easy to connect
With a tapered port on both sides of the blastgate, connecting to hoses is super easy with a set of hose clamps. (Hose and clamps NOT included).
Works with most any 4" Hose
The Fulton 4" Blastgate has been designed to work with 4" dust collection hose. Works with PVC hose, rigid flex hose and more. Will not work with PVC drainage pipe found at big box stores.

These blast gates are built to last, with solid construction and reliable performance. They fit perfectly in my dust collection system and do an excellent job of directing airflow exactly where I need it. Super easy to install and operate. They have made my workshop much cleaner and more efficient. I drilled a hole in each corner to mount it to the wall and it works great.Highly recommend these for anyone looking to improve their dust collection setup! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Been setting up my wood shops dust collection system and making lots of mistakes along the way. But this was one of my best purchases. These gates have worked great. You want the best suction you can get and gates help you control the flow to the collector. Many cheap gates I bought just get clogged up and are a huge pain to clean out. These big 4†gates have, so far, worked beautifully. Use the 4†clear hose and these gates and you’ll be a happy wood worker. Less dust in my lungs the better.

I purchased a two sets to total 12 blast gates. When the 1st order arrived late thanks to Amazon Shipping 5 of the gates were ok but one looked used, had a hole in the side, what appeared to be some kind of glue on it, and it would not close all the way. So I submitted an RMA. I got the replacement in the next day and after doing the install I noticed that all of the gates leaked some air and the 1st one that was attached to a Oscillating Belt Sander and the fine dust got in the groove for the door preventing it from closing more than 1/2 way. The 2nd one did the same thing on a radial arm saw. and a 3rd had the same issue on a bandsaw. all my hard pipe is 4" PVC and my dust collector pulls over 1500 CFM so it's not an issue with the airflow it's clearly a design flaw.Others have also stated that the design flaw causes dust to get trapped in the gate groove preventing it from closing and how bad they leak air.

these work fine with flexible PVC hose with minimal leakage and can be fitted to PVC DWV with a suitable tapered coupling from Mcjinn Tools etc.While I have the mike, though, it's just plain stupid that there is no genuine standardisation of fittings for dust collectors ... I mean, it just shouldn't be that hard to build your won dust collection system using parts from different manufacturers without having to jerry-rig fittings with hot glue and silicon and heatguns and endless adapters ... are you listening out there manufacturers?
