Not going to lie, it took a few slates to get the right temp and time, but once you find it... game on! Just like everything else you sublimate, you gotta find what's right and good for you. You can watch many YouTube videos but it's definitely different when you do it yourself. If the slates weren't so expensive, it'd be a main product in my business. I love it so much and the results are sooo nice and beautiful! Such a great little unique gift to give someone or for yourself. It's so easy to sublimate. These are the steps I do:Temp/Time: 400°F @ 450 secondsPrinted sublimation picture paper facing up (yes up!) & slates facing down!Put butcher paper under picture paper and on top on slate! You'll be very happy with the results! Yw 😉

These slates were individually bubble wrapped and boxed. The sublimation project was very successful and exceeded my expectations. I recommend these sublimation blanks to crafters interested in a great product that works well for sublimating a photo.

I was looking for a gift idea for my volleyball team. I came across a video on youtube from a crafter that I follow and she linked this product. I've heard that sublimating on slate can be difficult but since I trust this person I thought I would order and give it a try. I was not disappointed! I printed a team photo and sublimated on 9 slates, one for each player. Honestly I was blown away with how easy it was and how beautiful they turned out! I haven't given them out as gifts yet but I've shown them to several people and they say they look incredible. Two things I recommend. One, make sure to take a damp cloth or alcohol and clean the surface really good. I didn't do that and you can see just a smudge in some places but I am the only one that noticed. Also, when measuring out your graphic account for the edges. Some are cut a little more in places so make sure you account for that so you don't lose any of your photo or graphic. Otherwise these slates are amazing!

This is a very high quality product. I questioned the instructions for the sublimation time but it is spot on! I set my heat press to 354 F at 525 seconds and they came out beautifully! I love the chiseled edges as it gives the finished product some uniqueness. I highly recommend this product and have so many thoughts for other uses. The stand provides a nice desktop/shelf display option.

I love the product but the box for the slate is very poor quality and slates are wrapped in a cheap protector cover that tears! If they upgraded the box and used bubble wrap everything would be top notch!!

When sublimating for this size it takes 4 minutes to sublimate an image at 400°. So don't put it in for your usual 30 seconds. It will not imprint the image. But with my mechanical heat press, it was easy. They do smell up the room, but it dissipates after some time. The image is gorgeous. I'm going to buy more of these!

My first time doing sublimation on slates. I use 400 degree for 398 seconds. I did not size one correctly but still like the outcome. I noticed on all slates one corner looks like it was chipped but maybe it's the design. I would order again.

I’ve bought these multiple times now and each time they have subbed beautifully.
