These are smallish medium-duty toggle clamps. Their features and dimensions are well described in the listing. The listing also states that they will withstand a 550 lb pulling force and I expect that's true, but I think that is the ultimate strength or failure strength of these clamps, not the safe working capacity. The clamps are well constructed of carbon steel and are zinc plated, but I doubt their corrosion resistance would stand up to long term outdoor exposure. Mounting screws are NOT included; that makes sense given the variety of surfaces to which the clamps might be mounted, but it bears mentioning. Better toggle clamps are certainly available and should be considered if your application is challenging, but these are fine for non-critical routine tasks and they are priced very attracitively.

These toggle latches come shipped loose in a plastic bag. By the time they got to me the plastic bag was torn. The latches work as advertised and can be tightened so that it takes some force to cam over the handle, but this draws the two sides together. Force is again required to open the latch. I like that there is a hole available where you might insert a padlock to secure the latch closed. The latches do not come with any mounting screws, which is unfortunate. The biggest flaw is the red rubberized coating on the handles. The coating looks and feels cheap, and I'm almost sure it's going to be sticky after a while. The coating was also marred, dented, and dirty (see the pic). I suspect this is both due to poor packaging and poor manufacturing. In any case, the handles look "used" right from the start.

I ordered this mid sized light duty clamp for a water heater enclosure build to secure a double swing door against the upper rafter sections and it held up great! Easy to setup and swing latch over to secure with a decent amount of adjustment without looseness or play. Threads react well the blue thread locker to keep the latch from working itself loose. Very secure and works great!

These are pretty versatile latches. I'm going to use two of them for a wooden box but don't have anything specific in mind for the rest. Maybe I'll build a steam-bending box and use this to secure it. Screws not included, which is fine since the type of screw really depends on where you would mount these. I bought a different set of these at the same time to compare, but I like this set better since the latches are slightly larger and seem more heavy-duty.

My Woodland Mills came with two of these to secure the panel to the saw blade and they work great. I used two of these to lock the small door in my barn. I like how they can be adjusted by screwing the D ring. These claims are simple and work great!

These clamps appear to be very well made and strong. They can provide substantial holding power and it's adjustable with just the turn of the eye bolt. I am going to use them on some wooden storage boxes I've made to hold the hinged lids on tightly. Maybe it'll keep the mice out. Good product, simple to use, and a very reasonable price. I recommend them.
